Ben Hamblen

Ben is a Registered Principal, bringing with him extensive compliance and regulatory knowledge and experience in Financial Planning.

Prior to joining 1847Financial, Ben was a Managing Director at Commonwealth Financial Group in Boston, where he worked closely with senior advisors in development to streamline the firm’s planning process and philosophy. Ben also spent time in the financial planning department at Baystate Financial, where he acted as a Senior Case Manager for fee-based financial planners, specializing in eMoney.

Ben currently resides in Charlestown with his wife Elissa and two children. He enjoys skiing, golfing, sports, traveling, and spending time with close friends and family. Ben is involved with the Special Olympics through volunteer work and fundraising and is also passionate about giving his personal time towards the fundraising efforts of children’s hospitals in the Boston area.
